Program Deadline Extended: Corporate Voices 10th Anniversary Celebration Sponsorship Opportunities Still Available

Celebration Dinner 10 years

Corporate Voices has extended the deadline for sponsors to submit 10th Anniversary Celebration program advertisements to May 10, 2011.  The program will highlight our accomplishments while providing a forum for government and business leaders to offer their congratulations.  Sponsorship opportunities are still available  and we encourage you to take advantage of the visibility Corporate Voices' Annual Partners Meeting and Celebration provides.

Our 10th anniversary celebration, taking place June 16, 2011, includes a dinner and program held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting (June 15-17) of our 50 partner companies. This event will provide Corporate Voices' partner companies and funders, influential business leaders, policy makers and friends an opportunity to reflect on the success of the last 10 years and look toward the future. VIP speakers and awards presentations will complete the evening.

We would like to take this moment to thank the companies who have already committed to sponsor Corporate Voices' Annual Meeting and 10th anniversary celebration dinner and reception.

Working Mother Hosts Leadership Summit for Women in National Security Careers

working mother securityAs women constitute nearly half of the workforce today, it is increasingly important to address the key policies, practices and techniques that help women achieve professional success in the workplace. Nowhere is this more salient than in the national security field. Although women in this field continue to have strong roles as team players, leaders and advocates, their positions have become increasingly complex and challenging due to the global economy and political sector. That is why it is critical that women learn to tap into their own unique skill sets and embrace their individual power and leadership style.

To address this important issue, Working Mother Media is hosting a Leadership Summit for Women in National Security Careers on May 12 in Falls Church, VA. The summit will be a full day of self-discovery, skill-building and action planning with top women leaders who have achieved success in the intelligence community and who understand the burning issues, rules of engagement and challenges women face. Mary Irvin, Director of the Vision Implementation Team at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), will be the keynote speaker.

Attend the summit to hear insights from executives about how to own ambition and create your future, learn about strategies to recognize and grow your career leadership, address challenges, build futures for multicultural leaders, and more!
