We are proud to announce we will hold our annual partners meeting and a special 10th anniversary celebration June 15-17, at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. This year's annual meeting will bring together leaders from the public and private sectors while highlighting and focusing on Celebrating 10 Years of Success: Shaping the 21st Century Workforce and Workplace.

Corporate Voices annual meeting and 10th anniversary celebration will be held June 15-17, 2011 with the theme, “Celebrating 10 Years of Success: Shaping the 21st Century Workforce and Workplace”. The annual meeting, convening over three days, will feature a White House briefing, Capitol Hill visits and an exciting collection of keynote speakers and panels.

Capitol Hill Briefing
Hear from Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Chair, Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Subcommittee on Employment and Workplace Safety and Representative Howard “Buck” McKeon (R-CA 25), Chairman, House Armed Services Committee on important legislative education issues on youth, workforce readiness and workforce development. Transportation will be provided and will depart from the Mayflower Hotel (1127 Connecticut Avenue, NW) at 11:30 a.m.

In the fashion of “The Today Show” our host, Donna, will lead a discussion on the founding of Corporate Voices from conception to the 10th anniversary and beyond.

This invitation-only briefing from White House staff on issues such as workforce readiness/education and flexibility in the workplace. The event will take place at the White House Eisenhower Executive Office Building. Corporate Voices staff will escort guests four blocks from the Mayflower to the White House Complex. Guests will depart at 8:00 a.m.

This panel discussion will cover how employers have taken on the challenge of ensuring a skilled talent pool for a competative future, including the findings from “Across the Great Divide,” which examines the perspectives of CEOs and college presidents on America’s higher education and skills gap.
