Employment Opportunities: Director, Workforce Readiness

The Workforce Readiness Director will provide programmatic leadership and manage the postsecondary education/talent development area of work for Corporate Voices for Working Families. The director will be responsible for managing projects, engaging the business community on workforce readiness issues, developing content, and conducting outreach on workforce readiness policy. Reporting to the executive director, the ideal candidate is flexible, organized, proactive, comfortable working independently and highly proficient at multi-tasking. The ideal candidate must be an excellent writer. Good oral communications skills are required; successful candidates will be able to fluidly interact with corporate leaders, advocated, policymakers and community leaders. Ten years of work experience are preferred, ideally with a background in education and workforce development/readiness issues. Candidates must be able to work effectively, efficiently and cheerfully in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented, multiple task environment.
